April Grants Newsletter 2023
April Grants Newsletter 2023
Welcome to the April edition of our grants newsletter.
Our team is excited to announce that we have now submitted 20 nominations to the Department of Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development, Communications and the Arts for Round 8 of the Stronger Communities Programme. We wish our local organisations all the very best with their formal applications and look forward to hearing how things progress.
Last month I wrote to the Treasurer Jim Chalmers outlining key ‘asks’ for Mayo in the upcoming Federal Budget. Our team remains hopeful that this letter conveyed the importance of these projects and the benefits they would provide to our community. Keep an eye out in early May, when our team will release a ‘report card’ on the Budget which summarises the wins and losses for Mayo.
