Non-Government Grants

AMP's Tomorrow Fund

AMP’s Tomorrow Fund awards up to $1million in grants each year to amazing Australians doing great things in their communities. Grant recipients work in a diverse range of fields and include artists, athletes, social innovators, scientists, educators, disability advocates, technologists, filmmakers, fashion designers, medical researchers and musicians. The grants can be used for a range of activities, including travel, equipment, study costs, research and more.

ANZ Community Grants

The ANZ Staff Foundation provides small grants of around $5,000 to charities around Australia. A National Advisory Board and State Committees comprising ANZ employees decide the granting rounds each year. The Seeds of Renewal program provides grants of up to $15,000 to community organisations for projects focused on creating education and employment opportunities in rural and regional Australia.

Australia Post

Australia Post offers various grants and support for projects that provide positive benefits for the community by helping to expand social and community networks and prevent barriers to participation in community life.

Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Community Enterprise Foundation

The philanthropic arm of the Bendigo and Adelaide Bank Group funds many different causes and gives communities the opportunity to build their own pool of funds to be reinvested back into their community as they see fit.

Budget Direct Sponsorships Solved Program

Four rounds of sponsorship each year for eligible organisations or associations to receive $1,000, $2,500, or $5,000 in funding.

Commonwealth Bank Staff Community Program

McDonald's provides community grants to organisations that are endorsed by the Australian Tax Office as a deductible gift recipient, projects or events that take place in the communities in which they operate, charitable organisations that provide direct community service (especially those which focus on the health and wellbeing of Australian children), and any other programs with measurable social outcome.

The Mercy Foundation

Provides support for organisations involved in reducing homelessness in Australia.

The Myer Foundation and The Sidney Myer Fund

Seeks to improve peoples’ lives in lasting and positive ways. Includes a grants finder search engine to search for available grants across a range of areas.

The NAB Foundation

Aims to make positive social change for Australians by supporting social purpose organisations that are doing amazing things in our communities. Particularly focused on mental wellbeing.

Optus Future Makers Program

The Future Makers Program aims to use technology to tackle social issues facing vulnerable people.

Perpetual

Perpetual, through their IMPACT Philanthropy Application program allows philanthropists and not-for-profits to connect and allow not-for-profits to demonstrate how they improve outcomes for the communities which they operate in.

Peter Brock Foundation

The Peter Brock Foundation assists individuals in crisis, who have suffered a range of hardships including natural disasters, disability, medical illness, family crisis and relationship breakdowns. Funds may be distributed to help these people individually or through program funding.

Local Sporting Champions

The Local Sporting Champions program is an Australian Government initiative designed to provide financial assistance for juniors towards the cost of travel, accommodation, uniforms or equipment when competing, coaching or officiating at an official national sporting organisation (NSO) endorsed state or national sporting competition or a School Sport Australia national championships.

Sport Access Foundation

The aim of the Sport Access Foundation (SAF) grants is to provide financial assistance to help children and teenagers with a physical or intellectual disability to participate in sporting activities that are otherwise beyond the financial means of their family.
