Mayo Community Service Awards announced

Mayo Community Service Awards have been presented to 18 senior students across the electorate by the office of Federal Member for Mayo Rebekha Sharkie.
The award is conferred to a senior student who has demonstrated a keen interest in social justice and shown great community leadership potential.
"This is about hearts and minds coming together and I congratulate all recipients," Rebekha said.
"My congratulations also go out to all of our young community leaders in Mayo, and I'd also like to congratulate all of the students who are graduating from year 12 this year.
"I know it is an incredibly difficult year for you but it is a year of great growth and hope and I wish you all the best for your
future endeavours."
Students who received the award included Cyril Saji from Rostrevor College, Laura Wuttke from Heathfield High School, Tobias Turner from Tatachilla Lutheran College, Milla Pinney-Scales from Mount Barker High School, Ella Green from Birdwood High School, Ciel Schmarr from Mount Barker Waldorf School, Malcolm Worthing from Tyndale Christian School, Daniel Laundy from Eastern Fleurieu R to 12, Lauren Hoopmann from Cornerstone College, Alex McClafferty-Jackson from Willunga High School, Gabrielle Schubert from St Francis de Sales College, Sheldon Parmenter from Victor Harbor High School, Melinda Mead from Hills Christian Community Secondary School, Isabella Cook from Investigator College, Aidan Weatherald from Yankalilla Area School, Ella Putland from Kangaroo Island Community Education, Kate Lomman from Encounter Lutheran School and Sarah Boots from Mount Compass Area School.
